Ashley James is a presenter, model, writer, and DJ living in London, you can catch her doing her thing on Hoxton Radio every Friday from 2pm-4pm from anywhere in the world at www.hoxtonradio.com. Ashley James is crazy about rap, Hip Hop, trap, grime, and R&B. Her obsession with music started when she was very young and had her first radio show at the tender age of 7. Granted it was just on her own tape recorder taking songs from the radio and making her parents record the adverts, but it was a start. Ashley James got her first taste of real presenting at sixteen when she secured work experience at BBC Radio Cumbria, and then went onto work on URN, the University of Nottingham’s radio station, whilst studying for her BA (hons) French & English Literature degree.
In terms of presenting, Ashley James most recently hosted a 12 episode series called Style Stars on PopGirlTV, a channel on Sky and Freeview. The show saw Ashley James set fashion challenges to teenage girls. Ashley James regularly host red carpet events, and festivals, including hosting the main stage at last year’s Festifeel, a festival curated by Fearne Cotton for the breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!. Ashley James presented at Clothes Show Live, for Clothes Show TV, online fashion channel Fashtag, and even backstage at the X Factor.
Other TV appearances include Celebrity Dinner Dates (ITV), Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (channel 5), and Made in Chelsea, which Ashley James appeared in for just over a series.
As well as working as a presenter, Ashley James write for the Huffington Post, and have modelling agencies in London, Milan, Istanbul, Australia, Germany, and New York. Ashley James recently fronted campaigns for George swimwear, Story jewellery, and Tutti Rouge. Finally there’s this website, which obviously takes up a lot of my time, so I hope you enjoy it.
